Mission & Values

Redeemer began as a Bible study in a neighborhood home in the fall of 1995. Since then, God has faithfully sustained Redeemer as a church that seeks to glorify God in all that we do and proclaim the gospel to our community and the world.

Redeemer values loving God through passionate worship, loving others in nurturing community, and loving the world through word and deed ministry.

Our Mission

Redeemer's mission is simple and biblical: Growing Disciples & Planting Churches.

Christ commands us to make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:19). Making disciples means preaching the gospel to all nations, baptizing those who come to faith in Christ and their children, and teaching believers to grow in faith and obedience. At Redeemer, this is seen in:

  • Worship - We hear the gospel preached, worship our Lord, and receive the sacraments.
  • Community Groups - These groups serve to strengthen the ties between believers at Redeemer so that we may encourage and edify one another in Christ.
  • Service - We serve others as a means of reflecting the sacrificial love of Christ, who gave himself for his church.

The natural outgrowth of growing disciples is planting new churches to spread the gospel and make new disciples. This includes planting churches in Colorado and around the world.

Our Vision

Our Vision for Redeemer flows directly from our Mission. We seek, Lord willing, to grow as a community of faith, make disciples, and plant churches in Denver, Colorado, and beyond.

Our Values

At Redeemer we are committed to be:

  • Rooted: In Scripture, Doctrine, Worship, & Liturgy
  • Relational: A welcoming space that fosters life long friendships
